Update: Committee’s Public Hearings on WESRA First a look back to the first public hearing at Jiminy Peak. Here’s a shot of some of the destruction on top of Brodie Mountain (click on picture to enlarge).  Yep. Clean and green!: Nettie Hammond, whose property in Hancock Massachusetts abuts the ten industrial wind turbines erected on Brodie Mountain, testified at the first public hearing on the Wind Energy Siting Reform Act (WESRA).  After 28 years, and a 13 year long, costly fight, the peaceful enjoyment of her property was taken from her by the wind developers.  Governor Patrick and Senator Ben Downing celebrated the victory in a public commissioning ceremony in May of 2011.
